Middle Syndicate Speech Finals
On Friday the middle syndicate got together to share the best Year 3 and Year 4 speeches from each class. James Cole won the overall best speech judged by Mrs Miles and Mrs Lams. Well Done James, your speech was fantastic.

Today Room 9 got dirty and gooey.
We mixed cornflour and water together to create goo. It was a lot of fun.

'THE IMPOSSIBLE BRIDGE'
Today for reading we read a story called 'The Impossible Bridge'
With a small group of 4 we had to create a bridge that would hold a 'Dinky Car'.
We were only allowed to use 20 straws, 14 ice block sticks, 2 pieces of paper, cellotape
and scissors

Whole School Rich Topic - Aotearoa
This term the whole school is going to be involved in a Rich Topic about Aotearoa - NZ, Our place.
Each week we will have a hook at the start of the week to get the children inspired in the learning experiences for that week.
Week 1 was an amazing real life ANZAC display consisting of army jeeps, crosses in the ground to symbolise some people that lost their lives, army ambulance and a tent with memorabilia based around ANZAC.
Room 9 were allocated a time during the day to explore this amazing hook.
All children were inspired, buzzing and wanting to find out more about ANZAC which made for great learning experiences in the class.
